The app accesses video files stored on your device to enable playback. While we "access" these files, we do not "collect" them in a way that transmits them to us.

We store small amounts of technical data locally on your device to improve your experience:

• Favorites List: IDs of videos you have marked as favorites.
• Playback History: List of recently played videos.
• Playback Progress: The timestamp where you stopped a video.
• App Settings: Preferences such as playback speed.

• Contractual Necessity: Processing is necessary to provide the video playback features you requested by installing the app.

To provide its services, Chikoo Play requires the following permissions:

• READ_MEDIA_VIDEO / READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: To scan your device for video files.
• INTERNET: For standard system functions. Note: No user media is uploaded.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

As all data is stored locally on your device:

• Retention: Data is retained as long as the app is installed.
• Deletion: You can delete all data associated with the app at any time by:
  1. Clearing App Data/Cache in Android Settings.
  2. Uninstalling the application.

• Right to Access: You can see your data (Favorites, History) directly in the app.
• Right to Erasure: You can delete your data by uninstalling the app.
• Right to Portability: Since your media files are yours and stored locally, you maintain full control over them outside the app.
